#987 Even the Lennons liked fresh bed linens

Is there really anything nicer then fresh linens? The super luxurious feel of fine linens rubbing up against your bare skin. And Ladies- Can you imagine the feeling of nice soft linens caressing your freshly shaved and moisturized legs?

Wait! What? Linens! Linens!

We are talking about fresh bed linens here people. Not Lennons! Anyway… You know those days when you have taken a few extra minutes and made your bed up, or hopefully someone did it for you, and you have clean and fresh sheets on the bed waiting for you at the end of your hard day? They smell just the way you like and they are super soft and smooth to the touch. Maybe you like a nice 600 thread count Egyptian cotton. Maybe you prefer satin or silk sheets. Perhaps you are trying out some bamboo sheets. Or maybe you are like me and love you some flannel sheets. One thing is for certain- There is not much that feels better than slipping into a bed with fresh linens.

Sadly though living in a world without unlimited funds or natural resources means having fresh sheets every night is not a luxury I am familiar with. Fine quality sheets can be expensive. (Especially when you have an 18″ mattress!) And washing sheets every day is simply not a responsible thing to do with respect to the environment. So like Christmas and birthdays or the New York Mets winning a World Series, fresh sheets come around less often than I would like. And when they do, it sure does make me smile.

If only there was a place where there was someone to make the bed with fresh sheets for me every day… Oh a boy can dream can’t he…

What type of sheets do you prefer? Have you tried bamboo sheets yet? Let me know in the comments as I would love to hear from you.

  1. Hi Troy
Yes you are right, especially on a warm night the cotton will have a cooling affect so hopefully it will help you sleep better.
I do not totally agree with people who say Egyptian cotton is better,we have a range of 50% Percale Cotton 50% Polyester bed sheets, valances and pillow cases. The percale gives them that soft silky feel and feels gorgeous next to your skin, and with the 50% polyester it helps when washing and drying the items unlike 100% cotton which creases really easily and some times dry s like cardboard.
If you have a look at our website. You will find 14 great colours most available in all the options and offer great value for money.

  2. Hi.
Flannelette sheets are not just for winter, they can keep you cool in summer, admittedly not when it is super hot.Flannelette sheets are made from 100% cotton and cotton is not a man made fabric so it will keep you a bit cooler and you will have that bit of cosiness from the brushed part of the flannelette.
We have a good range of products in flannelette,we even have flannelette quilt cover sets, these are more for the winter months as they are so cosy.Even the younger ones of us are going for flannelette sheets and quilt covers.
So no need to be cold this winter, get yourself some flannelette sheets,

    Thanks
