One of my favorite parts of travel is those hotel toiletries left in the bathroom for our use.
Oh sure, exploring new places and experiencing new cultures is high on the list too yet it is always those little bottles of shampoo and conditioner and those little soaps that make me smile.
You know the ones right? They often look like this-
I always take them with me when I leave the hotel at the end of my stay. I used to feel guilty about that, as if I was stealing until a housekeeper told me that they throw away whatever is there when the guest checks out and replace with brand new for the next guest. (I mean this may seem obvious but I just figured if they were obviously un-used perhaps they were just left there. Not so said the housekeeper I spoke with.)
The challenge then is over time, your bathroom may look like a hotel toiletries factory. (At least we have indoor plumbing and a place to store all these.)
No problem right? Just all that many more smiles.

I must admit I have taken a few toiletries on my travels and on the airplanes too, all goes in my goodie bag to take home!

Yes, I have a list of toiletries that I find useful in travel.
1. A good toothbrush (not the cheap kind)
2. Travel packing cubes
3. Aftershave and shaver
4. High quality shampoo and body soap (don’t rely on the hotels).
(don’t rely on the hotels). Right? You never know what they will have,especially if you are traveling on a budget.

Hotel toiletries are amazing. The only thing I wish is they use more of herbal products. That would lead to a healthier lifestyle. I am a bit of too health conscious. So I take a soap of my choice whenever I visit a hotel. I cannot bear some other soap rubbing against my body.
